I have not seen Ann For years and it was so neat to see her. Her Dad, Uncle Lowell, Passed away in June. She called me last week and it was so special to visit with her and to share the same thoughts. Family is the very Best!

5 Generations

Easter Sunday we had the opportunity to go to the blessing of baby Rowan Grant(Jon and Rachels) Terri's Mom, Sonja (nana Great), and her mom Grandma Cox were there. That is 5 generations of the Cox Family. Grandma Cox is 97 and just as spry as you can believe. It was so neat to have this wonderful picture of 5 generations.

How neat that they get to be together and to have this wonderful heirloom to pass on.

True Love

Thank you
Mom and Dad
For showing us what true love is.
Dad stayed by moms side every second when she was ill. He was holding her in his arms when she returned to Heavenly Father. Even when her hair fell out and she was black and blue from all the needles Dad would say "You are the most beautiful woman" And she is.
Mom showed Dad true love as well.
Even when she couldn't walk she still sat at her stool at the kitchen counter and made dad breakfast. When she couldn't see him she would panic until she saw him. He would say "I Love you" and then she was ok.
They love each other more than most people could ever dream.
It is a privilige to see that love and to have been your child.
Your love is eternal and we are so blessed to have the sealing covenants.
Thank you for loving each other Forever.

I love you Mom!

Mom, Thank you for teaching me Always!
You have Always taught me
and
You WILL Always teach me
How to return to live with Him Someday

The Hospital

The picture below is of Dad and Mom with all of the kids (except matt and Elder Wright) in the ICU at Murray Hospital.
Mom was diagnosed with PCP a type of pneumonia that is very rare and very difficult to treat. The treatment that they would normally use mom is actually allergic too. On top of having the pneumonia, mom's cancer has spread, her lung collapsed, she had a feeding tube in, can't walk, has multiple pulmonary embolisms and that is just the begining of the list. I was talking with one of her nurses, Larry, and he told me that mom is a fighter and she is an incredible woman. Right on both counts. She is Incredible.
Our Super cute pirates. Sister Sherri Peterson brought some scarves for mom to wear. Mom wanted to learn how to wear them so we were practicing. Of course we could not leave out Dad and Caleb. They wanted to be pirates. Notice Calebs eye.
Mom and Caleb
Children are not allowed in the ICU unless they are 14 and older. Caleb was able to squeak in. Mom was so happy to see one of her grandbabies at least. Caleb held her hand and told her jokes and rubbed her arm. He cried as he talked to her and told her how much he loved her. Lets just say that he was not the only one in the room that was crying.
Caleb has a tender and pure heart and is so close to the spirit. His faith and testimony are incredible especially for such a young boy. He reminds me of the prophet joseph.
Caleb is and incredible blessing to all who come to know him.
We love you Caleb

We are happy to report that Mom is looking much better, has the feeding tube out, is down to 4 liters of oxygen and has been moved to another hospital.
(still has several challenges but she keeps on fighting)
Miracles happen.
We are surrounded by tender mercies daily.
The Church is True!
